COLORADO VICTORIAN
The project is an 1800 sf guest house, west of Vail, Colorado. The home contains 2 bedrooms, 1 ½ baths, a comfortable living, dining, and family area, and a 12 car underground garage for the owner’s private car collection. The design of the home draws upon Colorado’s Victorian heritage while incorporating the latest in geothermal and solar photovoltaic technology. Careful attention was given to selecting materials that fit in with the surrounding landscape. The project was completed with Aker Architects. Hal Colvin, of Builder’s Studio, was the contractor.
